Scouts - Be Prepared

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Do you like Scouting, but are looking for a challenge and a chance to learn some new skills? The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award gives you a chance to do all this, achieving personal goals and working as a team.
The award has 3 levels, bronze, silver and gold. Each has similar requirements, but a progressive level of skill and dedication.

The Chief Scout’s Platinum Award, the Chief Scout’s Diamond Award and the Queen’s Scout Award have similar requirements and can be completed alongside The Duke of Edinburgh scheme. You can complete any of the bronze, silver or gold awards until your 25th birthday.

Unit photoIf you want to take up the challenge and undertake one of the awards, let your leaders know. The leaders will help match you with other explorers who want to complete the same award level and will help you track your progress. The leaders will also sign off your award sections in eDofE when you are ready. The leaders will also help you with expedition planning and scheduling.

To register for a DofE award, you will need to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award Enrolment Form and send it with a cheque to the Wiltshire Scouts DofE coordinator. You can find the form in the forms library.
